Shrimp Ceviche with Citrusense

Refreshing, full of flavor, and perfect for hot days. This ceviche combines fresh shrimp with crisp vegetables and a unique citrus twist thanks to Citrusense lemon powder.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the citrus juice:
  • Dissolve the Citrusense powder in 200 ml of water. Adjust the flavor intensity to your liking.

  1. Cook the shrimp “cold”:
  • Place the shrimp in a bowl and cover with the Citrusense juice.

  • Refrigerate for 30 to 45 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and look firm (this indicates they are "cooked" by the acid).

  1. Mix the fresh ingredients:
  • Lightly drain the shrimp, leaving a little liquid.

  • Add the onion, tomato, cucumber, mango (if using), chili, and cilantro.

  • Add Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce if desired, and adjust with salt and pepper. Mix well.

  1. Serves:
  • Decorate with avocado cubes to taste.

  • Serve cold with toast, crackers or chips.
